Also a note saying:- “St. Mary Abbots Church, Kensington, London.
War Memorial to Nurses killed while on duty during air raids”.
And:- Designed by Dulcima Glasby and executed by Barbara & Dulcima Glasby. 1946”.
Also “Presented to Church of England Advisory Board. 5/5/1948”.
The Mortuary was damaged during WW 2 and demolished in 1974.
In 2021 Stephen Tomkinson of Tomkinson Stained Glass Ltd. advised that he bought this at auction and sold it on. It is now in a private collection.
