The Work:- Window of two Lights, with bullseye over of Angel with scales and

known as “The Judge Window”.


Date:- 1930.


Location:- South wall from the entrance.


Subjects:- (l) Healed invalid & mother. (r) Jesus and disciple.


Inscriptions:- “My judgement is just because I seek not mine own will”. (John 5:30).


Dedication:- (l) “Giving thanks to GOD and in loving memory of the Rt Hon.

SIR LAWRENCE HUGH JENKINS. K.C.I.E. P.C.

Chief Justice of Bombay. 1899.


(r) “and of his son GLODRYDD LAWRENCE RICHARD JENKINS.

2nd Lieut Welsh Guards”.


Their friend R. D. SETHNA of Bombay dedicates this window.1930.


Below the window is a brass plate reading:-

“In loving memory of Catherine Minna, wife of Lawrence Hugh Jenkins of Cilbronnau

and second daughter of Andrew Brown and Georgina Catherine Kennedy of Sea Cow Lake, Natal. Born 28th December 1870. Died July 9th 1933. Buried in Cairo”.
