The Work:- Window with bullseye over two Lights. Small Tracery.


Date:- Not known.


Location:- Left (North) wall of main entrance.


Subjects:- (l) The Good Shepherd (r) Light of the World

Bullseye has Jesus, Virgin Mary and a child thought to be Margaret Birnie.


Inscriptions:- (l) “The Lord is my Shepherd”. (r) “I stand at the door and knock”.

(Bullseye) “I am the resurrection and the Life”.


Dedication:- “To the Glory of GOD and in loving memory of MARGARET BIRNIE.

Beloved wife of the REV. GEORGE BOYES.

Born April 5th 1830. Died December 24th 1916”.

Glasby’s name is shown at bottom right of right-hand Light. No date shown.


Back of the sketch has Glasby’s Kensington address overwritten with Putney.
