Back of the sketch has Glasby’s Putney address.


Also note correct spelling of Silsoe. (Not Selsoe).


This work of Glasby’s is not known at St James, Silsoe or at neighbouring Flitton. However the general design layout of Glasby’s cartoon/sketch is very similar to that installed at the church by others. Maybe it is a failed bid by Glasby? It seems a lot of work for nil commission.
