Dedication:- “To commemorate the founding of Scouting
in this town and Parish. Feb 21. 1911”.
Base of the Light has scout emblem “Boy Scouts of America. 1910”.
Also dedication to Scoutmaster Rev. Parker Curtiss. And Asst, S.M.H.W. Winfield.
Research shows that the original nine members of troop 1 are:- Edgar Findlater,
Almon Pepper, Hugo A. Meyer, Russel Swanton, Dan Elwell, Howard Pepper, Peter Jacobs, Frederick Pantzer, George Seil.
Note:- The dedication conflicts with Log 154 concerning Scouting.
