Rev. Heighton advises that according to National Association of Decorative and Fine

Arts Societies (NADFAS) book the left is Mary Magdalene and the right is Mary mother

of James (Mark 16. V1.) and, therefore, the cartoon/sketch description is in error.

Back of the cartoon/sketch has Glasby’s Kensington address overwritten with Putney.

Also a handwritten note:- “See Llanelli”. This may refer to Logs 74 & 75 (Holy Trinity, Felinfoel, Carmarthenshire) regarding artistic content.

See also Log 36.

…………………………………………………………………………………………………..

With thanks to Rev. George Heighton for data supplied during 2021.
