Sharon Walsh, Operations Manager, Christ Church Mayfair
told us the church was closed for a number of years before permission was given from the Diocese of London to start a new church.The historical records are with Westminster archives.

The back of the cartoon/sketch has a coloured advert quoting a letter from a satisfied customer (see Log 126).
Also “Executed in Opus Sectile Mosaic, Venetian Gold, Mother-of-Pearl & Alabaster”.
The memorial has been damaged and poorly repaired.
