Inscription:- “To the Glory of GOD. In memory of our brave and beloved dead
1914 – 1918. With lasting gratitude and affection”.
“Thou hast done all this for me, what have I done for thou?”.

I do not have a cartoon for this work which is in Opus Sectile mosaic, but a note by Glasby on the back of cartoon Log 177 advertises the above work, along with reference to other churches displaying his efforts.
See the church's website under “Monuments 6/39” for a photo of this magnificent work. It is thought that the Angel with a pen signifies recording the names of the dead while the other angel holds a martyr’s palm and hero’s wreath.
Glasby’s name is shown, but no date.
