We do not have a vidimus for this work.

The work does not show in Donald Green, Dennis Hadley and Joan Hadley’s report “The life and work of William Glasby (1863 – 1941)” in The Journal of Stained Glass, vol xxxii (2008), p91 – 106. However, Green does mention it in his archive indexing and it is included in the Glasby Virginia Marketing Document discovered first in 2025.

Above the Opus Sectile panels is a Lancet Window of three Lights with Tracery over, the stained-glass being by Ward & Hughes, and for whom Glasby worked in his early years. This work is dated 1887.

Glasby’s name and date do not show on the Opus Sectile and glazed work.
